THERE ARE MORE THAN 21 million of us in Florida. Wrap your head around that, if you can. Over the past 55 years, we’ve more than tripled our population.
We’re continuing to grow, and it costs more to have a home here and to raise a family. That family looks different from the way it appeared a half-century ago, too, with nearly 5.6 million of us identifying as Hispanic or Latino.
But regardless of how we identify ourselves, we are poised for more growth, both in population and in our economy.
This is our state, by the numbers.
