1—MILLER’S ALE HOUSE

4400 Kernel Circle, Fort Myers; 239-931-4160. And 10065 Gulf Center Drive, Fort Myers; 239-461-9334. www.millersalehouse.com.

This Florida chain of sports bars does a nice job with chili, meatloaf and wings — don’t forget the chicken Zingers. It also has dozens of TVs, which no doubt are tuned to the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament. Lots of domestic beers in buckets, too, along with a raft of cocktails. A late night (10 p.m. to close) Happy Hour is Sunday to Thursday, with $5.99 apps and a selection of $7.99 sandwiches.

2—STEVIE TOMATO’S SPORTS PAGE

4420 Colonial Blvd. (near Winkler), Fort Myers; 239-939-7211 or www.stevietomato.com. Fountain Shoppes, 814 Pine Island Road, Cape Coral; 239-573-7877. Pebblebrooke Center, 15215 Collier Blvd., No. 303, Naples; 239- 352-4233.

A sports bar is all about having a place to watch the game. But it’s mostly about the drinks and about the food — what’s a game without wings? And what are wings without a game? They’re still pretty good, actually — especially as a starter. But you can choose from a large menu of starters at Stevie Tomato’s regardless. A Bowl of Balls, anyone? They’re meatballs. You also can feast on Hurricane Spicy Shrimp and fried pickles.

3—WICKED WINGS & THINGS

8024 Alico Road, Fort Myers; 239-432-0050 or www.wickedwings andthings.com.

The magic is in the sauce at Wicked Wings & Things — mild, medium, hot, suicide, killer, death, inferno, teriyaki/oriental, honey bar-b-q, garlic butter, garlic butter Parmesan, Honey Garlic, Mango Habanero, Caribbean jerk, sweet Cajun, sweet Chili, lemon pepper, blackened, cherry bomb, ranch, sour cream and chives, Key lime or simply add garlic and/or Parmesan cheese. The wings here are prepared nonbreaded, then fried. ¦
