The Lee County Health Department has opened a new office in Lehigh Acres providing residents with increased health care services. Family planning, childhood immunizations and WIC, a supplemental nutrition program for women, infants and children, will all be located at the new location on 5624 8th Street West, Suite 106. A grand-opening ceremony will occur later in the summer.

is 461-6100. The new facility will be more conveniently located for Lehigh residents, allowing them to receive the health services they need. Currently there are more than 2,500 clients receiving WIC services from Lehigh. This new clinic will be accessible for those using mass transit with a bus stop in front of the office. The former health department office in Lehigh at 391 Lee Blvd. is now closed.
