Get your paddles ready for the Calusa Palooza river races

The third annual Calusa Palooza race, organized by the College of Life Foundation for paddling enthusiasts, returns April 7 at Koreshan State Park in Estero.

The Estero River race includes events for standup paddle boarders, kayaks, outrigger canoes and surf-skis. This is an American Canoe Association-sanctioned event including a free quartermile Calusa Kids Race.

Pre-registration is required. Race entries are $35. Proceeds will benefit a summer camp for underprivileged youth.
