The Children’s Advocacy Center of Southwest Florida recently held its second annual Rescue Runway, raising $10,615 with the online fundraiser benefiting children in need.
A Rescue Royalty Queen and King were crowned. After weeks of fundraising, the winners were Chloe for Rescue Royalty Queen and Barnaby for Rescue Royalty King. Best Pet Costume Winner was Micky, dressed as “Tiny Santa.”
The event was sponsored by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Brown & Brown Insurance, Edison National Bank, Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Co. P.A. and supporter Seed and Bean Market.
“Thanks to them and all our online voters for King, Queen, Pet Costume and silent auction bidders, CAC was able to raise $10,615 for its programs and services for child victims of abuse,” said Development Director Lisa Rizzio. “Without the help of the community and sponsors, the total amount raised would not have been achievable.”
