Black and white photography show seeks submissions

BIG ARTS invites all photographers to submit their best black and white images for the juried exhibit “Trick of the Light.” The entry fee is $10 for BIG ARTS members and $15 for nonmembers. A photographer may submit up to two entries for consideration and the entrance fee will remain the same, regardless of whether one or two pieces are submitted.

Bea Pappas and Deborah Butler, artists, instructors and Visual Arts Committee co-chairs, will serve as the judges for the exhibit. There are no cash prizes for this juried exhibit.

All entries must be submitted for review to BIG ARTS between 9 a.m. and noon Friday, Feb. 28. No entries will be accepted prior to the official receiving date and time.

The exhibit will be free and open to the public for viewing in Phillips Gallery from March 3-31. The artists reception from 5:30-7 p.m. Saturday, March 15, will also be free and open to the public to attend.
