Arts for ACT, DAAS opening during June’s Art Walk night

Arts for ACT Gallery and DAAS CO-OP Art Gallery & Gifts are joining forces to present a collaborative exhibition featuring approximately 25 artists who are members of DAAS CO-OP.

The opening reception is in conjunction with the Fort Myers Art Walk of June 2. It will be held at the Arts for ACT Gallery in downtown Fort Myers.

“This is the first time we collaborate with Arts for ACT as an entity. As individual artists, many DAAS members have contributed to their fundraising events or exhibited at the ACT gallery. This exhibit will be like bringing a little DAAS into ACT,” said Xavier Brignoni, a co-founder of the cooperative gallery. “We will feature paintings, sculptures and even a selection of artistic jewelry from the members.”

Arts for ACT Gallery is an essential part of the Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc. ACT is a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing safe shelter, a 24-hour hotline, counseling and education to victims of domestic violence and their families and survivors of sexual assault.
