Best Home Services asks help to restock food bank

Best Home Services has launched its annual Spring Cleaning campaign to collect non-perishable food items and household goods through April 30.

Best Home Services is asking customers, vendors, employees and other partners to help restock more than 1,500 pounds of donations to Midwest Food Bank in Fort Myers. Best Home Services will also make a dollar per pound matching cash donation of up to $1,500. iPartnerMedia, Inc. is partnering in the effort.

Best Home Services technicians will accept items from customers during their appointments. In addition, donations can be brought to: Best Home Services, 1455 Rail Head Blvd. Naples; iPartnerMedia, 28200 Old 41 Rd, Suite 204, Bonita Springs or Midwest Food Bank-Florida Division: 5601 Division Dr., Ft. Myers.

“As our seasonal residents begin to make plans to return to their summer homes we want to encourage them to share some of their pantry with the Midwest Food Bank,” said Chadd Hodges, co-owner, Best Home Services

“This is a critical time of year to support our local food banks who are facing a summer period when their donations decline but the needs of families remain,” said Randy Mitchelson, APR, vice president, iPartnerMedia.

“Our warehouse supplies dozens of southwest Florida’s food banks. Anyone with unwanted items in their food pantry are asked to contribute to the Spring Cleaning campaign,” said Paul Csotty, director of community relations, Midwest Food Bank - Florida division. ¦
