The Details: I have been visiting this great little spot near downtown Fort Myers for two years. Today I had my favorite breakfast dish, homemade corned beef hash and eggs. Yes, it’s really homemade.

Fresh corned beef that melts in your mouth, diced potatoes that are cooked just right, onions, and peppers make this the best corned beef hash around. This is definitely not from a can. Served with a side of seasoned home fries, a fresh baked biscuit and a slice of fruit to make it complete. My guests and I decided to try one of the homemade cinnamon buns with our meal. They were fresh out of the oven with melted frosting. We shared just one, but it was just enough for us all to have a few bites.

Owners Meredith Martini and Ben Alicku bring several years of restaurant experience to the Fort Myers area. They along with Meredith’s parents, Frank and Marcia Martini, who owned a catering company in New York, have made this spot a place to call home. Ben runs the kitchen, creating some great dishes. Meredith handles the front end and creates the pastries.
