Dignam Law presents Estate Planning Seminar

Michael F. Dignam, Esq. of Dignam Law will present a complimentary estate planning seminar from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at Herons Glen Golf & Country Club, 2250 Avenida Del Vera, North Fort Myers. Mr. Dignam will discuss “Basic Estate Planning in Florida” including:

• How to avoid probate

• The appropriateness of a living trust

• How to protect your children’s inheritance from creditors

• How to make proper health care directives

• 2015 estate and gift tax law update

“A significant number of Americans don’t have the most basic estate planning documents, including a will, a living will and financial and medical powers of attorney, needed to protect them,” said Mr. Dignam, who has received an AV Preeminent Peer Review rating by Martindale-Hubbell, for his professionalism and ethics. “That means when they die or become disabled or incapacitated, the courts will be making the decisions for them about who gets what and who’s in charge.”

Mr. Dignam has been practicing law in Southwest Florida for more than 30 years. A substantial portion of his practice deals with the planning and distribution of clients’ estates including the preparation of wills, living trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, grantor-retained income trusts, generation-skipping trusts and charitable remainder unitrusts.

This seminar is free but seating is limited. For reservations, call 337-7888 or email lisa@dignamlaw.com. ¦
