Wilfredo Emanuel has been named to the expanding team of interior designers at Clive Daniel Home in Naples. As a professional interior designer, Mr. Emanuel has been featured as a TV personality, writer, speaker and personal consultant, modeling advisor and premier mentor for Christian DIOR USA House in both the Caribbean and the U.S. for nearly 15 years. For the past year, he was the lead interior designer for LA-Z Boy Galleries in Orlando, responsible for the store’s in-home design program. Previously, he spent four years with the former Robb & Stucky at its Mall of Millennia and Altamonte Springs Orlando stores.

Jennifer ann de Lignieres, a 25-year veteran of the interior design industry, has also joined the design team at Clive Daniel Home. A third generation Realtor, since 2007, she has been a leading producer for Royal Shell Real Estate. Ms. de Lignieres has served as both a designer and sales associate in the hospitality industry for clients that have included the Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons, film industry celebrities and corporate CEOs. She is a Louisiana State University grad with a bachelor of interior design. She also attended the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.


Attorney Susan M. McLaughlin has joined the Pavese Law Firm, bringing more than 30 years of experience as a litigator to the firm. Her practice area is focused on condominium and homeowner association law and includes assisting clients with rule enforcement, discrimination charges, insurance claims, breach of contract and all manner of dispute resolution.

Previously, Ms. McLaughlin was a founding partner with the Condo & HOA Law Group. Before moving to Florida, McLaughlin was a shareholder in the firm of Harvey, Pennington, Ltd., a Philadelphia based firm, where she practiced law from 1979 to 2001. Prior to joining Harvey, Pennington, McLaughlin was a staff attorney with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. She is a graduate of New York University and has a law degree from Villanova University.

MCLAUGHLIN MCLAUGHLIN Attorney John Lewis with the law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A. was named Trial Lawyer of the Year at the annual judicial dinner of the Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates recently. The criteria for this lifetime achievement award include being an excellent advocate with a distinguished career and having a superb reputation of high ethics and fair play. Mr. Lewis received his undergraduate degree, law degree and masters degree from Florida State University.

Cossette Fernandez Larrea, CPA has joined Markham Norton Mosteller Wright & Company P.A. as a member of the tax team.

Ms. Fernandez-Larrea is a graduate of Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in taxation. She is a certified public accountant in Florida and an adjunct accounting and tax professor with Hodges University.

Health Care

Sandy Robinson, president of Northern Trust’s Fort Myers office, has been elected chairman of the board of directors for Hope HealthCare Services.

Mr. Robinson, a graduate of Princeton University, has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, previously serving as vice president and team leader in the commercial real estate division for Fifth Third Bank in Naples.

FERNANDEZ-LARREA FERNANDEZ-LARREA Dr. Amanda Jane Avila has been named the medical director for the Hope Parkinson Program at Hope HealthCare Services. Specializing in the medical management of movement disorders, Dr. Avila is the first movement disorder specialist to practice locally in Southwest Florida and will assist patients in the medical management of Parkinson’s disease, including tremors, stiffness and balance control.

Real Estate

Bonita Springs-based WCI Communities has appointed Keith E. Bass as chief executive. Mr. Bass has more than 20 years of homebuilding experience, and has held a number of executive leadership positions at national homebuilding and development companies, most recently as president of the South Region of Ryland Homes. He has served on WCI’s board of directors since early 2012. He replaces David L. Fry, president and chief executive officer, who has resigned from WCI for personal reasons.

ROBINSON ROBINSON Michael P. Canzano of Taylor Morrison has been appointed as a sales associate at Sandoval, the 524-acre gated community in the heart of Cape Coral. With more than 15 years of sales experience, Mr. Canzano is a licensed real estate agent in Florida and obtained a bachelor of science degree in business management from Fairfield University. ¦
