Home-Tech funds Habitat home
Home-Tech, a local air conditioning and major appliances service and sales company, recently donated funds received through the Community Contribution Tax Credit Program to Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties. With its total contribution of $50,000 this year, Home-Tech is funding a Habitat home in Lehigh Acres and the company’s employees are helping to build it. Full Story
Bank boosts Facebook ‘likes’ for charity
Florida Gulf Bank has launched a social media campaign on Facebook to benefit United Way. In addition to the bank’s annual campaign efforts, it has promised to match $1 for every “like” on its Facebook page up to 1,000 likes.
