EnviroGreen launches new LED lighting system
Fort Myers-based EnviroGreen Technologies is focused on saving clients energy and money one LED chip at a time, thanks to an exclusive, global distribution deal with Ecolite50 LED exterior lighting solutions. Technological advancements over the last decade have positioned LED as the next generation of light source for general illumination, from homes to commercial applications.
One of the most affordable and durable LED light systems available today, Ecolite50 ensures better light quality and visibility while saving energy and reducing maintenance costs and greenhouse gases. LEDs provide 75,000 hours or more of energy life compared to an incandescent light bulb that lasts approximately 1,000 hours. In addition, Ecolite50 manufactures all its technologically advanced products in the United States from recycled materials while maintaining environmentally sustainable manufacturing systems.
“Being socially responsible has never been so cost-effective,” said Steeven Knight, CEO of EnviroGreen Technologies. “Due to LED’s energy and maintenance cost savings, the Ecolite50 lighting system pays for itself within the first three years of its 10 year warranty. In addition, companies benefit from numerous federal, state and local incentives for electricity savings.”
According to the U.S Department of Energy, in the next 20 years, rapid adoption of LED lighting in the U.S will reduce electricity demands from lighting by one-third, eliminate 258 million metric tons of carbon emissions, avoid the building of 40 new power plants and create financial savings that could exceed $200 billion.
EnviroGreen Technologies offers lighting for parking lots, garages, streets, pedestrian walkways, building exteriors, shopping malls, stadiums and other industrial and commercial projects. The company recently unveiled a pilot, LED lighting installation with the city of Cape Coral. EnviroGreen Technologies estimates that the city will save 75 percent on electricity bills after installation.
