Home sales show strong uptick in February
Affordability, low interest rates and the looming deadline for the homebuyer tax credit combined to boost February sales in the Greater Fort Myers Area last month.
A total of 1,141 single-family homes were sold in February in Lee County, 21.9 percent above last year, and 12.0 percent above the prior month. Full Story

Lee County homebuyers can take advantage of federal dollars being used to buy and fix foreclosed homes. Through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program, buyers can qualify for financial aid to buy these refurbished homes at discounted prices.
