Builders Care to host building product blowout event Jan. 16

Get started right on those New Year’s resolutions for your home or office. Builders Care, the nonprofit arm of the Lee Building Industry Association, will host its first building product garage sale, Saturday, Jan. 16, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., to raise funds to help local homeowners in need.

Get blowout prices on everything from fixtures, paint, doors, furniture and more. This is a remodeler’s dream sale. Local suppliers and building industry related companies are providing great deals on all kinds of items ,including appliances, lighting, plumbing fixtures, kitchen cabinets, paint and more. All proceeds raised will benefit Builders Care.

The Builders Care Building Product Blowout will take place at Cape Coral Plumbing, 5812 Enterprise Pkwy., Fort Myers, in the Billy Creek Commerce Center, off Luckett Road just west of Interstate 75. Admission is free, but a $5 donation is suggested per adult. Beverages and snacks will be available.

“This is a perfect opportunity to take advantage of great deals in the new year that will ultimately help a local neighbor in need,” said Heidi Taulman, Builders Care executive director.

All proceeds will help Builders Care provide emergency construction services to elderly and disabled Lee County homeowners in need.
