Lee County Domestic Animal Services has joined more than 2,000 pet shelters and adoption centers across the country for Home 4 the Holidays 2009, a national event organized to raise awareness of the joys of owning shelter-adopted pets. Letter carriers launch 2009 Toy Drive
The Letter Carriers of Lee County are having their 2009 Letter Carrier Toys Drive to benefit Toys for Tots on Saturday, Dec. 5. Lee County residents are asked to place new, unwrapped toys by their mailbox or drop them off at the nearest Walgreens. Larger items can be picked up by calling 699-8121.
