FGCU’s 23rd commencement to graduate 907 at Alico Arena
Florida Gulf Coast University expects to honor 907 students during fall commencement exercises beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Alico Arena.
Participating graduates have been allocated tickets to provide to their guests. Tickets will be required of all guests. More than 3,000 family members and guests are expected to attend the commencement ceremony.
FGCU President Wilson G. Bradshaw will confer bachelor’s and master’s degrees in the university’s five academic colleges: Arts and Sciences, Education, Health Professions, Lutgert College of Business and Professional Studies. FGCU has conferred more than 9,000 degrees since the fall of 1997.
The ceremony is FGCU’s 23rd commencement and includes students completing degree requirements during the summer and fall terms.
