PERYMON
Amber D. Perymon,
Psy.D., has joined Eden Autism Services Florida as assistant director of adult services. In this role, she will provide clinical oversight for all of Eden’s adult programs, including residential services, adult day services and training, and employment and vocational training. Dr. Perymon earned her doctorate from the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her internship at the Kelberman Center for Autism and Related Disorders at UCP in Utica, N.Y. and gained additional experience at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, the Brief Therapy Clinic at the South Behavioral Therapy Center in Dayton, Ohio, and Lovaas Institute/ Douglas Developmental Center. She was an adjunct professor in Wright State University’s Psychology Department and worked as an ABA therapist and program manager for the Huber Heights, Ohio, city schools.
HOOVER
The Southwest Florida Community Foundation has named a new slate of officers. They include: Jay A. Brett,
chair; Dawn-Marie Driscoll,
vice chair; David Shellenbarger,
secretarytreasurer; and Donna Kaye,
immediate past chair. The Community Foundation’s Board of Trustees is a governing body of volunteer community leaders who are representative of the communities that SWFLCF serves.
Michele M.
Hoover,
CPA, managing partner in the accounting firm of Alexander & Hoover CPA’s, PA has been elected to the board of directors of the Literacy Volunteers of Lee County as its treasurer. Literacy Volunteers of Lee County is a nonprofit agency that provides literacy programs to adults who want to learn to read and write English. She’s been an active contributor at Literacy Volunteers and at Shell Point Retirement Community, where she provides services and does QuickBooks training. Ms. Hoover joined Alisa Alexander, CPA to form Alexander & Hoover CPAs, PA in March.
