Barefoot Beach Chapter of DAR schedules genealogy workshop
On Saturday, Dec. 5, the Daughters of the American Revolution, Barefoot Beach Chapter, will hold a hands-on genealogy workshop. The event begins at 9 a.m. with scheduled appointments on the hour. The workshop will be held at Hunters Ridge Golf & Country Club in Bonita Springs. This fun and informative workshop will help you find out who is in your family tree by actually doing research on computers.
“We look forward to helping residents and visitors to the area learn how to discover their ancestry through on-site state-ofthe art searches using the Internet and other sources,” said Chapter Regent Jean Hutt.
Space is limited and early sign up is recommended. Reservations can be made by check for $20 per adult or $10 per student payable to Barefoot Beach Chapter NSDAR, and sent to Jeanne Basso, 19741 Markward Crossing, Estero, FL 33928 by Nov. 20. Include your name, address, phone, e-mail and preferred time with your payment. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
