www.LeeLostPets.com. Adoption hours: 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday and 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The shelter is at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, next to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, off Six Mile Cypress Parkway. Fees: $25 to $95, however, reductions and specials are often available. Adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccination and county license if 3 months or older, flea treatment, worming, heartworm test for dogs 6 months and over, feline AIDS and leukemia test for cats, training DVD, 10-day health guarantee and a bag of Science Diet pet food, services valued at $500.
>>Spot (#459106) is a young male who got his name from the few black spots he has on his otherwise white coat. He has lovely gold eyes to go with that coat as well as a mellow, loving personality. He enjoys being petted, especially having his head scratched, and would make a loving companion for a cat lover. Adoption fee: $50, or $25 when donating an item on the shelter’s wish list.
