CHANDO Joanne Chando, broker/owner of Avalar Gulf Coast Properties and 2009 president of The Women’s Council of Realtors, Fort Myers Chapter, graduated from the Leadership Academy program conducted by the Florida Association of Realtors, and held at its headquarters in Orlando. The program, now in its second year, was created to identify, groom and train future leaders in the Realtor community statewide. Admission to the Leadership Academy was limited to 12 Realtors statewide.
