Donna Indresano, an associate at Lily & Co. Jewelers on Sanibel Island, has received her colored gemstone certification. The Diamond Council of America offers the certification. It was founded in 1944 as a forum to educate jewelry sales about diamonds and gems.

The Bokeelia Trading Company announced the opening of its online retail business at www.bokeeliatradingcompany. com. The company specializes in wearable art on T-shirts. Company owner Jim Griffiths said his goal was to be open in time for seasonal visitors, along with local residents, to be able to own a piece of Southwest Florida either on a T-shirt or on canvas.
