The historic Gasparilla Inn & Club in Boca Grande anounced the appointment of Simon Pound
as the manager of The Inn’s celebrated Main Dining Room. In his new role, Chef Pound will manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and BZ’s Bar, including staffing, reservations, special events and The Inn’s wine program. Prior to joining the resort, Chef Pound was the assistant general manager and food and beverage director at the famed Inn at Little Washington, hailed as “one of the top 10 restaurants in the world” by The International Herald Tribune. During his 16-year tenure with The Inn At Little Washington, he managed all aspects of the dining room, special events, reservations, housekeeping, and guest experience.

has been selected to lead Swanky Lifestyle Company’s Mad Cuisine. As managing partner of Mad Cuisine (formerly Mad Take Out), Chef Correale will apply her experience cooking for celebrities such as the Trumps, Brooke Shields, Gweneth Paltrow and Hillary Clinton to creating gourmet prepared foods-to-go and upscale event catering for Mad Cuisine’s Southwest Florida clientele. In addition to her position with Mad Cuisine, Chef Correale owns and operates Elegant Affairs, a New York-based full-service catering and event design firm.

Stock Development has named John
Hobson
the executive chef of the Village Center at Paseo, a private, gated resort community in Fort Myers. Chef Hobson oversees the menus for Paseo’s pub, bisprofessionals tro and tiki bar at the 26,000-square-foot Village Center, which earned Pinnacle Awards this summer for Best Clubhouse Exterior, Best Clubhouse Interior and Best Pool. A native of Naples, Mr. Hobson is a graduate of Johnson & Wales in Miami with a degree in Culinary Arts. He has 10 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Before joining the staff at Paseo, He served for three years at La Playa in Naples and for four years at The Dock at Crayton Cove in Naples.
