Local banks complete merger

First National Bank of the Gulf Coast and Panther Community Bank have completed their merger. The combined bank is now open under the name First National Bank of the Gulf Coast with two full-service banking offices in Naples and a full-service banking center in Lehigh Acres.

“We are delighted to have completed the regulatory process and to open our doors to serve the unique banking needs of individuals and business owners throughout Collier and Lee counties,” said Gary L. Tice, chairman and chief executive officer. “We believe there is a tremendous need for a local community bank that can provide highly personalized customer service and attention.”

The bank’s main office and headquarters is located at 3560 Kraft Road, just off Pine Ridge Road in North Naples, with a second full-service branch office at 811 Anchor Rode Drive in The Moorings. The previous main office of Panther Community Bank located at 50 Joel Blvd. in Lehigh Acres is open as a full-service banking center.

Joining Mr. Tice on the bank’s executive management team are Garrett S. Richter, president; C.C. Coghill, senior executive vice president and chief credit officer; and Robert T. Reichert, senior executive vice president and chief administrative officer. Each has extensive experience and served in similar roles with the former First National Bank.
