Museum hosts ‘Art Expressions of Latin America III: The People’ exhibit
A confluence of culture, people, and lifelong experiences converge onto canvas and into clay during the third annual “Art Expressions of Latin America III: The People” art exhibit opening Nov. 7 at the Southwest Florida Museum of History in Fort Myers. There will be a preview showing for the monthly ArtWalk from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6.
Twenty-four artists from eight diverse countries share themes central to Hispanic life and culture through its people. Music, literature, home land, clothing and expression of emotions will be reflected in the art mediums filling the museum exhibit hall through Dec. 5. The talents of the artists are showcased in media such as oils, pastels and sculpture.
