Debbie Buchanan has joined Risk Management Insurance in Fort Myers as the director of employee benefits. Ms. Buchanan has worked in insurance for more than 22 years. She also served three years in the U.S. Army. Her insurance expertise includes employee benefits, risk management, self insured, fully insured group health, life and dis- ability programs as well as a strong background in human resources. Mr. Buchanan has also earned various industry designations, including CEBS, HIA, RHU and SPHR.

The Ted Todd Insurance Agency opens its seventh Southwest Florida office in Bonita Springs on Nov. 2. The new 3,000-square-foot facility is located at 10020 Coconut Road, Suite 144, at the corner of Three Oaks Parkway in the Brooks Sweetbay Shopping Center. Plans for the space include a centralized customer service and training center. The location will be especially convenient to the firm’s clients in the Copperleaf, Brooks, Spring Run and Shadow Wood communities. Irene Gestrich is the resident manager of the new office. Ms. Gestrich recently rejoined Ted Todd Insurance Agency, following 18 years at the Allstate home office in Northbrook, Ill. and an earlier position with Ted Todd Insurance in Melbourne.
