Dark Art - "Dark Art 3" brings shivers, chills and artistic awe to the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center. "Dark Art 3" features works by international artists such as famed horror writer/filmmaker Clive Barker and shock-rocker Marilyn Manson. The exhibit closes on Oct. 17 as part of Zombicon.

Latin Exhibit - The Patty & Jay Baker Naples Museum of Art is showcasing works by contemporary Latin American artists in the exhibition "Latin American Painting Now" through Jan. 10. 597-1900. Book Display - The Naples Museum of Art is displaying the Wisdom Books volume and the Prophets volume of The St. John's Bible Heritage Edition through June 30. The St. John's Bible (created 1998-2005) was written and illustrated entirely by hand, and was called by Smithsonian magazine "one of the extraordinary undertakings of our time." 597-1900.

Dance Art - The Wa-Ke Hatchee Recreation Center offers classes in Capoeira, a unique Afro-Brazilian art form combining dance, music, percussion, martial arts, acrobatics and gymnastics. Classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays at varying times. 432-2154 or www.leeparks.org.

Art Show - The second annual Non-Juried All Artist Members Show of Shows Exhibition takes place through Oct. 17 at The von Liebig Art Center. This exhibition features work in all media by Naples Art Association members and is an opportunity for member artists to sell their work. 262-6517.

Art Collection - Selected work from The von Liebig Art Center's Collection is on exhibit through Oct. 17 at The von Liebig Art Center. Beachcombing - Barefoot Beach Preserve offers a new park ranger program, "Beachcombing & Shelling," every Monday at 10 a.m. Meet at the Learning Center at Barefoot Beach Preserve. The program is free, but there is an entrance fee into the park for those who do not have a Collier County park permit.
