Local artist's work on display at Burroughs Home
Local artist Ellen TerBorg Bianchi will display her art work at the Burroughs Home Oct. 2-16. All of her art work will be available for sale and proceeds from this showing will benefit the Uncommon Friends Foundation.
Ms. Bianchi is a Michigan native who has relocated to Cape Coral. Although she has taught all traditional art media, including photography, she is currently focusing her talents on a series of unique paper castings. She has been instrumental in developing art programs in schools as well as teaching and lecturing for the Michigan Art Educators Association and the University of Michigan.
An artist reception will be held at the Burroughs Home, 2505 First Street, Fort Myers, from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2. The opening of the exhibit is part of the October Art Walk in the River District. Shuttle buses will stop at the Burroughs Home so that participants can view Ms. Bianchi's work.
The art work will be available for public viewing and sale Oct. 2-16 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., or evenings by appointment, by calling 337-9505.
