Also nearing completion are the Shops at MarinaVillage and the adjacent six-story parking structure. This area of MarinaVillage will be a commercial, residential and retail center within Tarpon Point Marina that will be open to the public. Pavilions situated along a waterfront promenade will offer boutiques and retail outlets, a day spa and a fitness center.
Restaurant plans include two casual restaurants: Marker 92 and the Nauti Mermaid. Both will feature marina views, a full bar and award-winning cuisine.
Local design firm Robb & Stucky is furnishing the 184-room resort with custom made pieces. Along with each room, the company completed the interior design for the entire project, including common areas, restaurants, ballrooms and the lobby, which features a twostory fountain.
The Resort at MarinaVillage will be managed by Fort Myers-based Sun- Stream Hotels & Resorts. SunStream will hold a two-day job fair, Thursday, Sept. 17, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. SunStream will accept applications for more than 100 management and entry level positions, ranging from sales and catering and food and beverage to guest services and housekeeping.
The Resort at MarinaVillage is Cape Coral's first waterfront resort and will feature fully furnished, two- and threebedroom residence-style rooms ranging in size from 1,235 to 2,195 square feet, featuring master suites, grand rooms and guest suites and private dining terraces.
Guests of The Resort at MarinaVillage will enjoy all the amenities of Tarpon Point Marina, plus concierge and spa services, room service, housekeeping and access to a resort-style pool, spa and deck. Guests also have the opportunity to become owners with fractional ownerships of the resort residences available starting at $74,000 for a 1/12 share.
Upon completion, Tarpon Point Marina will have 976 single-family homes, condominium homes, park homes and lake-view homes.
Situated at the mouth of the Caloosahatchee River, The Resort at MarinaVillage is located at 5951 Silver King Blvd. in Cape Coral. The sales center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. To learn more about Tarpon Point Marina, call 549-8500 or log on to www.tarponpoint. com.
