FineMark Bank opening brokerage division

SPECIAL TO FLORIDA WEEKLY

RUSCIK RUSCIK Fort Myers-based FineMark National Bank & Trust will begin offering brokerage services in October. The new division, which will be called FineMark Financial Services, will add to the investment capabilities already offered by the trust department of the bank.

FineMark Financial Services will be managed by Robert Sizemore, an experienced investment and brokerage specialist,

who managed the local office of Merrill

Lynch for many years. Mr. Sizemore will be joined by Donna (D.J.) Ruscik, who also worked at Merrill Lynch prior to joining FineMark in May.

"We will now be able to offer all clients sophisticated investment and wealth management services in a manner that is best suited to meet their objectives," said Joseph Catti, president and CEO of the bank, who added that FineMark Financial Services will use the Commonwealth brokerage platform.

"This is a real win for our clients," Mr. Sizemore said. "FineMark has increased the services offered and added several new research and financial planning resources."

Mr. Sizemore began his career as a CPA and is also a Certified Financial Planner. He holds Series 7,9,10, and 31 as well as a Florida Insurance License. Ms. Ruscik holds Series 3, 7 and 63 licenses.
