Adoption hours: 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday and 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. The shelter is at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, next to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, off Six Mile Cypress Parkway. Fees: $25 to $95, however, reductions and specials are often available. Adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, rabies vaccination and county license if 3 months or older, flea treatment, worming, heartworm test for dogs 6 months and over, feline AIDS and leukemia test for cats, training DVD, 10-day health guarantee and a bag of Science Diet pet food, services valued at $500.
