SPECIAL TO FLORIDA WEEKLY

RIST RIST For the fourth consecutive year, Inc. Magazine has named Storm Smart Industries as one of the fastest growing privately-held corporations in America.

Inc. magazine's annual Inc. 5000 is an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

When the official word was received at company headquarters in Fort Myers, department heads around the three-building campus called in all team members to make the announcement and recognize each member's contribution toward this accomplishment.

"This year's award is particularly special, as every member of Team Storm Smart has worked so hard to stay focused, ignore all the bad economic news and strive towards the uncompromised goal of unmatched customer service," said company CEO Brian Rist.

Storm Smart Building Systems designs, manufactures and installs hurricane protection and wind abatement products for homes and businesses throughout the U.S., the Caribbean and parts of Mexico and Canada. The firm recorded a 13.1 percent growth rate last year.

As the only Fort Myers-based organization on the list this year, Storm Smart also stands as one of the only companies in Florida to be ever be named to this prestigious list four years running.

"It speaks to the long-term vision of our company and our people," Mr. Rist said. "They come to work every day, committed to serving our customers with superior products, unmatched customer service and competitive pricing. If we have a secret, that's it."
