EATON Dr. Alexander M. Eaton of Retina Health Center recently presented new findings in the treatment of wet macular degeneration at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology international conference in Fort Lauderdale. As he has in the past, Dr. Eaton worked with Thomas Jefferson Academy student Sabrina Prabakaran, an 18-yearold senior on the research, which showed the potential benefit of combination therapy for individuals with wet macular degeneration who are unresponsive to Avastin therapy. Mr. Prabakaran graduates this month and is headed to the University of South Florida, where she has been accepted into the medical school.
