COURTESY PHOTO "Married Alive" opens at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre on Aug. 13 and runs to Sept. 26. Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre begins its 17th season with the funny, yet touching, musical comedy "Married Alive," playing Aug. 13 through Sept. 26. This wacky new musical takes a peek at two couples as they experience life from Niagara to Viagra.

"Married Alive" takes a look at marriage through the eyes of two married couples, a pair of newlyweds and a more "experienced" couple. From babies to empty nests and job stress to domestic bliss, "Married Alive" focuses on the trials, joys, accomplishments and defeats that are found in contemporary marriage. It's fast-paced and at times sharp, but always affectionate. Songs include "Stupid in Love," "It Starts with Socks," "Oh Knocked Up," "The Lucky One" and "Oh We Owe Money."

All evening performances (except Sunday Twilight performances) have changed to dinner at 5:30 and the show time is 7:30 p.m. Performances are Wednesday through Sunday evenings with selected matinees. Broadway Palm is offering a Season Opener Special and all tickets are $35 for dinner and the show.

Tickets can be reserved by calling 278-4422, by visiting www.Broadway- Palm.com or by stopping by the box office at 1380 Colonial Blvd. in Fort Myers.
