CLARK The Florida Everblades announced that equipment manager Jason Mac- Donald will be joining the NHL's Florida Panthers. The Michigan native will be an assistant equipment manager for the Everblades affiliate. Mr. MacDonald joined the Everblades during the 2006- 07 season. Prior to his three seasons spent in Southwest Florida, he worked in the Central Hockey League with the Fort Worth Brahmas during the 2005- 06 campaign. From 2001-05, he worked as an assistant equipment manager for the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
The University of Florida has recognized
Caryn Clark as a 2009 Outstanding Young Alumna. Each year, the University of Florida Alumni Association and the university's 16 colleges select alumni to recognize as outstanding young alumni. Recipients are selected by the dean of their respective colleges. The UFAA established this award to recognize Gators who have distinguished themselves in business, community or service, and are age 40 or younger. Ms. Clark, known as "The Hip Chick Voice" and a professional voice-over actress, was honored with this award alongside fellow College of Liberal Arts and Sciences graduate Rep. Tom Rooney.
