National speaker to address financial planning group

SPECIAL TO FLORIDA WEEKLY

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Roy Diliberto of RTD Financial Advisors Inc. will be the featured speaker at the Thursday, July 24, Financial Planning Association of SW FL monthly membership dinner at Springs Run Country Club at The Brooks.

Barrons recently named Mr. Diliberto one of the 100 best independent financial advisors in America. Investment Advisor Magazine identified him as "One of the 25 Most Influential People in the Financial Planning Profession," and Financial Planning Magazine recently named him to the "Movers and Shakers" hall of fame. He has appeared on national television programs such as "The NBC Nightly News," "CNN Moneytalk," "Fox on Money," "Up to the Minute" on CBS and "Business Center" on CNBC. He has also been featured on ABCNEWS. COM and CNNFN.

Mr. Diliberto is the author of a book for financial planners, titled "Financial Planning - The Next Step: A Practical Approach to Merging Your Clients' Money With Their Lives." He also writes a bimonthly column on Financial Life Planning for Financial Advisor Magazine and is a frequent speaker at national meetings for financial advisors.

The cost to attend the dinner is $40 for members and $50 for nonmembers.
