KELLY The law firm of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt, P.A announced the following:

Carlos A. Kelly has been appointed to the Emory Law Alumni Board. As board member, Mr. Kelly will assist the law school in its community outreach efforts and will help identify, cultivate and involve fellow alumni in areas of student recruitment and career networking.

Cody Vaughan-Birch, an associate in the Land Use and Environmental Law Division, has received the U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional distinction. LEED Accredited Professionals must demonstrate a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System. Currently, there are about 50 attorneys throughout Florida with LEED Accreditation, and only two in Fort Myers.
