Southwest Florida Symphony announces upcoming concerts

The Southwest Florida Symphony's 49th season is fast approaching, with Classical, Pops, Stained Glass and Around Town shows on tap.

CLASSICAL Made in America - Nov. 21 at 8 p.m. 2010: A Space Odyssey - Jan. 16 at 8 p.m. Brahms German Requiem - Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. Russian Caviar - March 27 at 8 p.m. Latin Fiesta - April 24 at 8 p.m.

There are free pre-show concert discussions before each classical concert.

POPS Love's Greatest Hits - Dec. 4 and 5 at 8 p.m. The Great Gershwin - Jan. 8 and 9 at 8 p.m. Giants of Jazz - Feb. 5 and 6 at 8 p.m. Star Spangled Pops - March 12 and 13 at 8 p.m.

Season subscribers get the best seats in town. Season subscriptions are still available. Single tickets will go on sale Sept. 15.
