PIOTROWSKI Toll Brothers announced that Stan Winters has been selected as a 2009 "Five Star" Real Estate Agent. Mr. Winters, who is a sales manager at The Reserve at Estero, a Toll Brothers community of single-family homes on Estero Parkway, was honored in the category "Best in Client Satisfaction." The selection was based on a survey by Crescendo Business Services, an independent research firm, of 18,000 Southwest Florida area residents who recently purchased a home.

The Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach Inc. announced the appointment of Cynthia Shafer to the Lee County Housing Authority of Florida. This appointment was made by Gov. Charlie Crist. Ms. Shafer has been instrumental in the Greater Fort Myers community in working towards affordable housing solutions. She is currently a member of the Lee County Affordable Housing Committee, a Realtor, an advocate for children as a Guardian Ad Litem, and founder of the Beds for Kids Program, which delivers beds to children in foster care.

Stock Development announced the two top sales associates during the month of May. Marcia Erpenbeck, from Paseo, and Bob Smith, from Lely Resort, each signed five contacts in May. Ms. Erpenbeck has 19 years of sales experience. Prior to joining the sales team at Paseo, she served Stock Development as a sales consultant for the Master's Reserve neighborhood at Lely Resort and at Grandézza in Estero. Mr. Smith has been in real estate in Naples since 1985 and also has his broker's license. Before real estate, he was a high school and college basketball coach for 25 years.

Mary Piotrowski has joined Cypress Realty GMAC Real Estate as a sales associate. Before joining Cypress Realty, Ms. Piotrowski worked as a transaction coordinator specializing in short sales. He has experience in real estate investing and home renovation.

John R. Wood Inc. Realtors announced that Brad Polacek has joined the firm's Bonita office as a sales associate. Mr. Polacek relocated to Florida in 1999 studying finance at Edison Community College. He obtained his mortgage broker's license and spent five years practicing in that field before earning his real estate license in 2008. He is a member of the Bonita Springs-Estero Association of Realtors as well as the Fort Myers board.
