RE/MAX Commercial group named top broker

FRYE FRYE The CoStar Group, an independent research organization in commercial real estate, has selected RE/MAX Realty Group Commercial Division as a CoStar Power Broker Award winner, an annual award recognizing the "Best of the Best" in commercial real estate brokerage. The award spotlights the U.S. firms and individual brokers who closed the highest number of commercial property sales or leases in 2008.

RE/MAX Realty Group qualified as one of the top brokerage firms in Southwest Florida based on its total leasing transactions closed during the year. In order to be selected for this honor, RE/MAX Realty Group was measured against commercial real estate brokerage firms active in its region by CoStar Group, the largest independent research organization in commercial real estate.

"We are honored to again receive the Power Broker Award," said Michael J. Frye, CEO of RE/MAX Realty Group, Fort Myers. "Of the approximately 100,000 Agents with RE/MAX International, more than 4,000 are commercial/ investment specialists in more than 1,200 markets and 24 countries. RE/MAX Realty Group Commercial locally has 16 commercial agents of which six are (Certified Commercial Investment Managers)."

CoStar Group President and CEO Andrew C. Florance singled out Mr. Frye's firm for professional accomplishment.
