Greyhound track poker room awarding $25,000 on June 30

The Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track will offer its own summer 2009 entertainment stimulus package with

a record $25,000 being given away on

June 30.

............................ The $25,000 Poker Room contest

will allow any poker player with a full house or better anytime in June to be eligible for the drawings throughout the afternoon starting at 1 p.m. on June 30.

Five players will be selected at 5 p.m. to play one hand of Texas Hold'em with the winner collecting $20,000. The second place poker play will win $2,000 followed by $1,500, $1,000 and $500 respectively.

The Poker Room will also award $25,000 on all royal flushes on the summer holidays, July 4 and Labor Day, Sept. 7. During July the track will distribute $500 daily for the best poker hands with drawings schedule from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
