Urgent Care prepares residents to respond to emergencies with offer of Red Cross training
During National CPR/AED Awareness Week, June 1-7, the Urgent Care Center of SWFL will host the Red Cross on Saturday, June 6, for a free CPR/AED Training Day at the Estero Medical Center location.
Initially, the Urgent Care Center of SWFL offered to provide 100 free CPR/AED certifications. However, the response was overwhelming.
"When The Urgent Care Center of SWFL decided to sponsor 100 people for free Red Cross CPR/AED certification, we had no idea of the overwhelming response we would receive," said the center's managing partner, Dr. Larry Hobbs.
The Urgent Care Center of SWFL has locations in two Lee County medical settings — in the Estero Medical Center, Estero and at Cay West Pavilion in Cape Coral.
