Lee TV to air video on coastlines

Lee TV, Lee County's government access channel, will begin airing a new program that highlights two of Florida's most distinctive coastal ecosystems.

The program, "Wildlife Matters: Florida's Coastal Treasures," was produced by Visit Florida, the US Fish & Wildlife Service, and other various agencies. Profiled are the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and the Canaveral National Seashore Park. Viewers will learn about the ongoing work these two national parks are doing to provide a haven for some of Florida's unique wildlife.

The program will air on Fridays at 8:30 p.m. on Comcast Cable channel 11. Lee TV is the county's 24-hour government access channel that provides residents with information about Lee County government, as well as public safety and state-related news. A broadcast schedule can be viewed at the county's Web site: www.lee-county.com. Click on Lee TV and then select Lee TV Schedule.
