Lee Sheriff's Office has summer Youth Program at area schools

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is again offering students ages 11 to 13 a chance to interact with law enforcement in an educational environment. The agency's Summer Youth Program will be held at different Lee County schools in June and July. Each four-day session will give students an opportunity to learn more about the sheriff's office as well as see demonstrations in areas including SWAT, K-9 and Aviation.

The sessions run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and are offered at no cost. The upcoming dates and locations are:
June 15-18 - Bonita Springs Middle School
June 22-25 - Alva Middle School
June 29-July 2 - Cypress Lake Middle School
July 6-9 - Lehigh Acres Middle School
July 13-16 - Three Oaks Middle School
July 20-23 - Lehigh Acres High School
