Seminar addresses leadership, economy

In participation with the Southwest Florida Community Foundation, The LEAD Foundation and other organizations will conduct "The New Map of Leadership" seminar from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 5, featuring Dr. Pete Hammet of the Center for Creative Leadership.

The seminar will focus on achieving success with leadership skills and increasing collaborative partnerships within the community.

Interactive sessions will be held throughout the day covering the nature of leadership, examples of effective collaboration, personal interaction and collaborative problem-solving.

Dr. Hammet has worked extensively with communities like Fort Myers to enhance leadership skills necessary to confront complex challenges.

Registration is required by May 29. Cost is $75 for the full day and includes breakfast and lunch and is due by May 29th. Call 332-LEAD for registration information.

The event will be held at the Fort Myers Airport Holiday Inn at 9931 Interstate Commerce Drive in Fort Myers.
