CLHS Arts Center takes honors in musical awards
Event showcases performances of Lee County high schoolers
The second annual Lee County High School Musical Awards were held May 18 at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall. The program is the brainchild of Scott Saxon, general manager of the hall. "Our purpose with this program," says Saxon, "is to celebrate and showcase the hard work and achievement of these talented students and their respective schools. Full Story

Is it worth $10? No "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" is a fun movie, but that doesn't necessarily make it good. If all you want is a bigger version of the 2006 hit "Night at the Museum," it should suffice. Symphony has auditions for choruses' 09-10 season
The Southwest Florida Symphony will hold auditions for adult and children's chorus on Saturday, May 30, at First Baptist Church in downtown Fort Myers. Auditions are 10 minutes long.
