Ft. Myers Toyota takes action against car theft

Ft. Myers Toyota has responded to the rise in vehicle thefts in Southwest Florida by partnering with Lo-Jack, the only stolenvehicle recovery system endorsed and activated solely by law enforcement. Lo Jack is a unique and extremely effective system with a 90 percent recovery rate - usually within 24 hours or less.

Every new Ft. Myers Toyota and Scion will now come standard with Lo-Jack installed at no charge to customers. Unlike other systems, there are no contracts or ongoing fees associated with Lo Jack.

Car theft is big business in this economy. More than 1.2 million cars were stolen last year alone. That's a theft once every 26.4

seconds, and more

than $7.9 billion in annual losses. Most car thieves are part of organized crime rings and know how to steal any car they want. Locked doors won't stop them and security systems don't scare them off. You can't really stop someone from stealing your car, but you can get it back with Lo-Jack.

Ft. Myers Toyota "The Family Store" is located off I75 at exit 136 on the corner of Colonial and Fowler. Call 938-2800 for further information.
