Two Lee businesses are finalists for ethics award

Entech Computer Services and Shell Point Retirement Community have been named as finalists for the fourth annual Uncommon Friends Business Ethics Award. The recipient will be named on June 4 at the Uncommon Evening at Harborside Event Center, 1375 Monroe Street in downtown Fort Myers.

The finalists were selected by a team of nationally respected business ethics professors. Committee chairman Dr. Charles J. Fornaciari, Ph.D., College of Business, Florida Gulf Coast University will moderate a Business Ethics Roundtable at FGCU at noon on June 4 at the College of Business. The nomi- nees and chief executives of Lee and Collier businesses have been invited to participate in the discussion, which will involve solutions to business ethics problems.

The Uncommon Evening will also recognize 25 scholarship recipients nominated by various schools and organizations. Awards are based on financial need and each person's educational success potential.
