Lee County Domestic Animal Services will join the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals throughout the month of June in asking people to open their hearts and homes to a new feline companion. To encourage as many cat adoptions as possible, Animal Services is offering a $50 discount on all cats and kittens. Full Story
Clinic: Prepare pets for hurricane season
P.A.W.S. Lee County will hold a Hurricane Preparedness Pet Clinic on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The clinic is located at 13410 N. Cleveland Ave., Fort Myers. As Southwest Florida's greatest threats from hurricanes occur between August and October, now is the time for pet owners to ensure their pets are protected. Full Story
