John Legend coming to Mann Hall

Multi-platinum recording artist John Legend announced a major tour that will sweep across the U.S. this summer beginning June 27 and running through Labor Day. Having just completed his most successful international tour, the six-time Grammy Award winner will perform at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall Wednesday, July 8. Known for connecting with fans during his dynamic live shows, Mr. Legend's concert will feature many of his biggest singles — from his No. 1 on the R&B charts EVOLVER album — all backed by an 11-piece band.

One of the top releases of 2008, EVOLVER is Mr. Legend's first full-length studio album in two years. Guests on EVOLVER include Estelle, OutKast's Andre 3000, R&B/ pop superstar Brandy and Mr. Legend's longtime collaborator, Kanye West.

Special guest, Grammy winning singer/ songwriter India Arie, will open Mr. Legend's show. Her recent album, Testimony: Vol. 2, Love & Politics, recently debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard charts. Ticket prices are $78, $62 and $52.
